Nowruz message of the Azarbaijan Movement

In the name of the God of the land of Iran, who is the first and also the last.

Honored compatriots, brave and wise young people, and patriotic and capable Azarbaijanis:

I, Lohrasb Zeinali, secretary-general of the Azarbaijan Movement for Democracy and Integrity of Iran, do not limit this year’s Nowruz message to good wishes or congratulations, because this Nowruz is very different from the years before it.

Our struggle, the struggle of the Iranian nation against the Islamic Republic that has laid Iran to waste, has reached a point where, while we celebrate Nowruz, we must also organize the national struggle against the demons and the Zahhak of our time.

The duty of us Iranians, in every group and with every political idea, whether constitutionalist or republican, is therefore as follows.

A. To think, and to decide to take part in a nationwide rising, in its visible and hidden layers, among family, relatives, and friends, in the neighborhood, the village, and towns and cities large and small, for the removal of the whole of a system that is an enemy of the world and of Iran.

B. To form small and separate offensive cells that, at the moment the nation’s anger boils over, which will most likely begin again in the first half of 1403, can move quickly from Qarchak of Varamin to every village and city where Azaris live, take our homeland back from the foreigners ruling our country’s sacred soil, and free ourselves from the captivity of Zahhak.

C. The Azarbaijan Movement believes that the year ahead may be the last year of this wretched religious government. In the election of 1 March 2024 the system lost its legitimacy altogether. In a referendum of non-participation, the absolute majority of the people declared the government illegal.

From now on there is no obligation to observe the laws of this system. The whole of this corrupt system must be removed.

We, the Iranian nation, with nationwide effort and unity, will pull down the rotten tent-pole of the guardianship of the jurist, and we will prove once more that in the destiny of nations no force is as decisive as the nations themselves.

We wish all Iranians a year full of victory, courage, and self-sacrifice on the road to taking the homeland back, of beginning a reconciliation with the world, and of building our country again.

Long live Iran and the Iranian nation.
